Women’s Career Network Sweden is now recruiting a new Board for Autumn 2025 – Spring 2026.

Who we are

Women’s Career Network (WCN) is a nonprofit organization dedicated to creating opportunities for women and non-binary students and young professionals in business and law. Our mission is to support and inspire the next generation of leaders by building inclusive communities and facilitating access to mentorship, career insights, and top-tier companies.

WCN Sweden is the founding chapter of the organization and continues to collaborate closely with our growing international network, including WCN Finland.

Open Board Positions – WCN Sweden 2025–2026

Join a passionate and ambitious team working to empower the next generation of women and non-binary professionals in business and law. All roles are part-time, volunteer-based positions designed to offer hands-on leadership experience, access to a powerful network, and meaningful community impact.

Head of Events

Lead and coordinate high-quality events in collaboration with top-tier corporate partners.
You will oversee the planning, logistics, and execution of all WCN Sweden events—both in-person and virtual. This includes supervising a team of project coordinators, managing event timelines, and ensuring brand alignment.
Skills: Strong organizational skills, project management, attention to detail, professional communication, leadership.

Head of Mentorship

Drive the vision and execution of WCN Sweden’s flagship Mentorship Programme.
You will lead a team of project coordinators, oversee mentor recruitment and pairing, and ensure a smooth and rewarding experience for participants. You’ll also manage events and communications tied to the programme.
Skills: Strategic thinking, relationship-building, program development, organizational skills, professional writing and communication.

Head of Marketing

Craft and implement our marketing strategy across all platforms and channels.
You will lead content creation for social media, newsletters, and the WCN website while ensuring consistent and engaging brand messaging. Experience with WordPress is a plus. You’ll work closely with project coordinators to develop campaigns and support events.
Skills: Content strategy, digital marketing, social media management, visual communication, copywriting, basic design tools (e.g., Canva), WordPress (preferred).

Head of Strategic Development

Oversee organizational growth, internal operations, and long-term planning.
You’ll ensure compliance with WCN’s values and vision, improve processes across teams, and lead recruitment of new members. You’ll also gather insights to support strategic decision-making and scalability.
Skills: Strategic planning, operations, organizational development, research and analysis, collaboration. WordPress experience is a plus.

Head of Finance

Manage financial operations and contribute to WCN’s overall strategy.
You will handle budgeting, financial reporting, and invoices, and work closely with the President and other board members to support decision-making.
Skills: Flair for finance, attention to detail, Excel/Google Sheets proficiency, organization, discretion, and accountability.

Head of Advisory Board

Facilitate meaningful engagement between the board and WCN’s senior advisors.
You’ll serve as the main contact for the Advisory Board, organize meetings and events, and help integrate advisors into strategic initiatives.
Skills: Professional communication, stakeholder management, organization, scheduling, and diplomacy.

Head of Sponsorship

Secure and manage relationships with WCN Sweden’s corporate sponsors.
You’ll identify potential partners, develop sponsorship packages, and ensure sponsor visibility across WCN activities and communications. You will also maintain close contact with current sponsors to support retention and engagement.
Skills: Sales and outreach, communication, and presentation skills.

Please note: All positions are part-time, unpaid and voluntary, but offer invaluable experience in leadership, networking, and community building.
