WHO ARE WE?
Women’s Career Network is a nonprofit organization for female and non-binary students and young professionals who believe in combining passion and hard work, as well as want to support each other to grow. In 2022, Women’s Career Network (WCN) expanded to become its own organization in Finland. Since then, WCN Finland has thrived and been contributing to the important movement towards a higher percentage of women in leadership positions in the workforce.
The WCN Finland Board will be responsible for the association’s operations in Finland, including strategic and internal development, financing, sponsorships, marketing and recruitment. In addition, the Board in Finland will work closely together with the Board in Sweden to develop global cooperation and our members’ international networking opportunities.

Team members – Corporate Relations
Would you like to build partnerships and expand university collaborations across Finland?
We are looking for Corporate Relations team members for the 2026–2027 season. This role focuses on strengthening WCN’s presence within universities and developing meaningful partnerships with companies and sponsors.
In this role, you will:
- University relations and outreach:
- Grow WCN’s visibility across university channels
- Collaborate with student organizations
- Represent WCN at campus events when needed
- Sponsorship and partnerships:
- Seek and secure new sponsorships for events, board activities, and team initiatives
- Maintain and develop relationships with partners
We are looking for someone who:
- Is proactive and takes initiative
- Has strong collaboration and communication skills
- Has a flexible schedule for university-related activities
- Can commit approximately 2–5 hours per week depending on projects
- Is interested in partnerships, outreach, and networking
- No need for prior Corporate Relations experience – mindset matters most
- Can balance this role alongside studies or full-time work

Team Members – Events
Would you like to organize networking events with top companies in Finland?
We are looking for Event Coordinators for the 2026–2027 season. WCN events include dinners, activities, case events, panel discussions, and company visits. We are looking for motivated volunteers to organize them.
In this role, you will:
- Event organization (hands on): Actively organize events by reaching out to companies, managing partner communication, handling logistics (e.g. sign ups, venues and catering), collecting feedback, and representing WCN at events.
- Strategic planning and partnerships: Work with your team to decide which companies to approach, which partnerships to build, and what kinds of events to organize.
We are looking for someone who:
- Is a university student or recent university graduate (0–5 years since graduation) in business, law, or a technical field. It is possible to work full time simultaneously, but strong time management skills are required.
- Can commit to around 5 hours per week
- Has a strong interest in event planning. Previous experience is a plus.
- Has strong English skills and is using Google Tools (Slides, Forms, Sheets, Drive)
- Is proactive, organized, and motivated to bring new ideas to life.
- Is based in Helsinki or nearby regions

Team members – Marketing
Do you want to be part of the creative team in charge of all the marketing for WCN? As part of the marketing team, you will be assigned a specific role within WCN’s marketing channels while supporting our Head of Marketing in growing the organization through innovative and engaging marketing. Although each team member has their own focus area, we work closely together and support one another whenever needed.
We are looking for university students or recent university graduates (0–5 years since graduation) in business, law, or a technical field who are passionate about marketing, take initiative, and aren’t afraid to try new things. If you are organised, creative, and have strong written communication skills, this role is perfect for you! Below you can see the different marketing team roles we are recruiting for right now.
Tiktok
Are you passionate about TikTok and short-form content? Do you enjoy coming up with creative ideas, filming, and editing engaging videos?
We are looking for a TikTok Coordinator to join our Marketing Team for the 2026–2027 season.
In this role, you will take the lead in developing and executing our TikTok content, helping us build visibility, showcase our community, and create content that educates, inspires, and entertains.
What you’ll do:
• Plan, create, and publish engaging TikTok content
• Brainstorm creative video ideas aligned with our brand
• Film and edit short-form videos (Reels/TikTok style)
• Stay up to date with trends and adapt them to our content
• Support the execution of our TikTok strategy and content calendar
We’re looking for someone who:
- Can commit approximately 5 hours per week
- Is comfortable and natural in front of the camera
- Has previous experience creating video content
- Is interested in TikTok trends and social media
- Is proactive, hands-on, and eager to learn
- Has strong communication skills and good English
- Is based in Helsinki or willing to travel there actively

Are you interested in writing, website design, and email marketing? Do you enjoy combining creativity with more technical tools like SEO and content management systems?
We are looking for a Newsletter & Website Coordinator to join our Marketing Team for the 2026–2027 season.
In this role, you will take the lead in updating our website and creating inspiring monthly newsletters for our WCN members. You’ll play a key role in ensuring our content is engaging, informative, and aligned with our brand across platforms.
What you’ll do:
• Create and design monthly newsletters for our community
• Update and maintain our website (WordPress)
• Write and edit content that is clear, engaging, and on-brand
• Optimize content using basic SEO principles
• Manage and develop our email marketing (Mailchimp)
• Ensure consistency across website and newsletter content
We’re looking for someone who:
- Can commit approximately 5 hours per week
- Enjoys writing and creating engaging, value-driven content
- Is interested in website management, email marketing, and SEO
- Is comfortable using (or has a high motivation to learn) tools like WordPress and Mailchimp
- Is detail-oriented and able to work independently

Team Members – Mentorship
Would you like to help connect ambitious students with inspiring professionals?
We are looking for Mentorship Project Coordinators for the 2026–2027 season. The WCN Mentorship Programme is our flagship initiative, bringing together mentees and experienced mentors from fields such as law, tech, and business. We are looking for motivated volunteers to help run it.
In this role, you will:
- Programme coordination – Actively support the Mentorship Programme by assisting with mentor recruitment, communicating with applicants, supporting the mentee selection and matching process, and helping ensure a smooth experience for all participants.
- Events and partnerships: Support the organisation of programme events by coordinating with company partners, handling logistics (e.g. sign ups and venues), and attending events as a WCN representative.
We are looking for someone who:

WCN Professionals is an alumni network that gives women the chance to stay in contact, and continue to inspire and learn from one another after graduation. We aim to organize a variety of events and social media campaigns throughout the year for the Professionals network aiming to connect like-minded people. Currently WCN Pro is active in Finland, in the Helsinki area.
Marketing and Communications Coordinator
Are you interested in marketing and eager to take ownership of building and executing a marketing strategy to WCN PRO alumni network?
We are looking for a Marketing and Communication Coordinator for the 2026–2027 season. In this role, you will take the lead in implementing and creating our marketing strategy and supporting the growth and visibility of WCN PRO. You will work closely with the team to create engaging content and develop our presence across channels.
In this role, you will:
Marketing execution (hands-on): Take responsibility for implementing the marketing strategy, creating content, and managing WCN PRO’s presence on social media and other channels.
Growth and development: Contribute ideas to improve visibility, engagement, and brand positioning, while continuously developing your own marketing skills.
We are looking for someone who:
- Has graduated or is graduating soon from a Master’s program in Law, Business, or Technology.
- Can commit to around 5 hours per week.
- Is interested in marketing and social media and is motivated to learn more, previous experience is considered an asset, but not a requirement. We value motivation and willingness to learn.
- Is proactive, driven, and eager to develop their skills.
- Has strong communication skills.
- Has good English skills and is comfortable using Google tools (Slides, Forms, Sheets, Drive).
- As most events are held in Helsinki, being based in Helsinki is preferred.
