WHO ARE WE?
Women’s Career Network is a nonprofit organization for female and non-binary students and young professionals who believe in combining passion and hard work, as well as want to support each other to grow. In 2022, Women’s Career Network (WCN) expanded to become its own organization in Finland. Since then, WCN Finland has thrived and been contributing to the important movement towards a higher percentage of women in leadership positions in the workforce.
The WCN Finland Board will be responsible for the association’s operations in Finland, including strategic and internal development, financing, sponsorships, marketing and recruitment. In addition, the Board in Finland will work closely together with the Board in Sweden to develop global cooperation and our members’ international networking opportunities.

We are looking for committed and motivated university students and graduates in law, business and tech for the following positions:
Team members – Corporate Relations
As a Corporate Relations Team Member, you will play a key role in securing new sponsors for our events, meetings, and giveaways. You will also be responsible for managing and maintaining strong relationships with existing sponsors, ensuring smooth communication and seamless execution of agreements. In addition, you may support our university relationship management, budgeting activities, and assist with other finance-related tasks as needed.
You’ll be a great fit for this role if you are well-organized, proactive, and have strong communication skills. Teamwork and active participation are at the heart of working at WCN. Together with the Head of Corporate Relations and Finance, you will help build and maintain strong, meaningful partnerships that are an integral part of WCN’s community and success.
Team Members – Events
As a team member in the events team, your responsibility is to support the Head of Events. You will be in charge of organizing events every two months, while another team member is in charge of the remaining events. You both will be receiving support from the Head of Events to successfully manage all the tasks.
Being a team member means in practice that you will actively contact prospective companies to collaborate with, handle the communication with the companies and plan the events from the beginning to the end with them. Last but not least, you will attend the events you have planned and get to see the results of your hard work!
What is needed to manage this position is a high level of proactivity, flexibility and ability to adapt to new and continuously changing situations. You will have to have good people skills so that you enjoy collaborating with many different people from different backgrounds and companies.

Team members – Marketing
Do you want to be part of the creative team in charge of all the marketing for WCN? As part of the marketing team you will get a specific role within the WCN marketing channels, and support our Head of Marketing in growing our organization through innovative and engaging marketing.
We are looking for people who are passionate about marketing, take initiative and aren’t afraid of trying new things. Tiktok
We are looking for a team member in the marketing team who will be in charge of our Tiktok account! This means that you will have creative freedom to create engaging content on Tiktok about WCN and our activities.
Instagram/Facebook
We are looking for a team member to support our Head of Marketing in content creation on Instagram and Facebook! Are you interested in brainstorming posts, editing with Canva and creating engaging captions? Then this role is for you! You will work with creating both posts and reels on our social media.
We are looking for a team member who will create inspiring content to our Linkedin page, where our content is more about spreading knowledge and motivation to our members. Are you interested in Linkedin marketing, brainstorming post ideas, copywriting and editing? Then this role is for you!
Website & Newsletter
We are looking for a marketing team member to update our websites and create inspiring monthly newsletters for our WCN members! Are you interested in writing, website/email design and seo? Then this role is perfect for you! This role combines both creative skills with more technical skills using both WordPress and Mailchimp.
Podcast audio editor
We are looking for a team member interested in editing audio for our WCN Career Conversations podcast. Previous experience is welcome but interest in learning editing work comes already a long way. This position can be combined with other positions, if you are interested.
Team Members – Mentorship
Are you organized, social, and full of ideas? Do you enjoy working in a team and managing multiple things at once? Join the WCN Mentorship team and help create one of WCN’s most impactful programmes!
As a team member, you’ll work closely with the Head of Mentorship and two other team members to plan and run the programme. Your tasks may include contacting mentors and interviewing them, helping with the matching process, reaching out to companies, organizing events, and creating marketing materials.
Everyone gets to contribute based on their strengths, but also learn new skills. You’ll gain valuable experience in project work, teamwork, and communication – all while being part of a supportive and inspiring team.

Team member – PRO
WCN Professionals is an alumni network that gives women the chance to stay in contact, and continue to inspire and learn from one another after graduation. We aim to organize a variety of events and social media campaigns throughout the year for the Professionals network aiming to connect like-minded people. Currently WCN Pro is active in Finland, in the Helsinki area.
As a team member at WCN Pro you will be focusing on organizing events for business, law and tech graduates and developing the WCN PRO network. This requires that you have an entrepreneurial spirit and are excited to connect with fellow professionals and companies. You will work closely with the Head of PRO and the other Board and team members. We have no requirements in whether you are a business, economics or law graduate, but we are looking for someone who is preferably living in the Helsinki area and ready to join for Autumn 2025 – Spring 2026.
